Subtl Beauty is seeking a Customer-Obsessed Retention Strategist to deep-dive into customer loyalty and drive repeat purchases. This role focuses on nurturing high-value customers through email/SMS marketing, leveraging loyalty strategies, and fostering a vibrant online community. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and tactical executor, passionate about beauty and brand storytelling.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in retention or lifecycle marketing at a DTC or digital-first brand (CPG/beauty preferred)
• Experience managing or contributing to owned community spaces (Facebook Groups, forums, loyalty clubs, etc)
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo or similar ESPs
• Data-literate with a clear grasp of LTV, churn, repurchase rate, and how to move those metrics
• Deep understanding of customer psychology and how to create emotional resonance
• Clear and confident communicator with strong copywriting instincts
• Highly organized and proactive
• Genuine passion for customer experience, beauty culture, and brand storytelling
• Familiarity with Shopify, GA4, and e-commerce tools
