Job Description
Zinc Network is seeking freelance producers to contribute to its social-change projects. The role involves finding and selecting stories, producing high-quality videos, overseeing remote crews, and ensuring timely delivery. The producer will be responsible for script writing, video conception, and project management. Candidates should have experience with editing, writing, and production processes.
Requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms
- Several years’ experience in a journalistic role, ideally with editorial oversight
- Several years’ experience in video production, with numerous scripting, producing and editing producer credits
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
- High level of creativity and ability to generate attention-grabbing creative ideas
- Experience in archive research and motion graphics
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Positive and flexible ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to get on well with the team
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
