Social Video Producer (freelance)

The i Paper is expanding its social video team and is looking for a Senior Video Producer to lead daily video output across social platforms, shaping how the paper covers the biggest stories of the day.

Requirements

• Commission and oversee the production of news and reactive social video
• Provide creative, editorial and technical feedback on videos produced by the team
• Lead forward planning for video coverage of upcoming stories and events
• Coordinate with reporters and editors to ensure early requests and OTD video needs are supported
• Offer technical advice and training to help the team develop their shooting and editing skills
• Collaborate with social and editorial colleagues to refine video formats and optimise reach across platforms
