Job Description
Otterbein Life Enrichment Center is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas. The role involves responding to emergencies, ensuring lifeguard training, and assisting with swim instruction. The YMCA provides free certification and training for Lifeguard and First Aid certification.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age
- Must be able to participate in and achieve certification for Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications from the YMCA (Starguard, Ellis) or American Red Cross.
- Minimum of six months or more of related lifesaving experience preferred.
- Must pass the physical competency test.
