Job Description
Premier Health YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Lifeguard to maintain safe swimming conditions in the pool and surrounding areas. The role involves responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, assisting with swim instruction, and maintaining accurate records. The YMCA fosters a welcoming environment where all individuals are encouraged to belong and reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Must be at least 15 years of age.
- Currently hold or the ability to participate in and achieve certification for the following: Professional rescuer, First Aid and Lifeguard Certification from the YMCA or Red Cross
- Passing of the physical competency test
- CPR/AED certification (for Professional Rescuer)
- Lifeguard certification through the YMCA or Red Cross
