Job Description
The Opportunity: WSP is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join one of our offices in Ontario. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge and a strong track record of successful project delivery within Civil Engineering in an engineering consulting environment. As an Intermediate Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the design, construction, and maintenance of various heavy industrial civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
Requirements
- B.Sc. Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Between 5 and 10 years of experience in consulting engineering firms, specifically in Civil Design and Site Planning.
- Experience within heavy industrial projects desired.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards.
- Professional Engineering Licence in Ontario (P.Eng) or one of the provinces required.
- Eligible for federal security clearance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge in Visual OTTHYMO, Pix4D, and Revit would be an asset.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess a valid G driver’s license.
