Job Description
Wood is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for the Iraq Operations Business in Sharjah, UAE. This role involves designing and advancing the world, focusing on energy security and decarbonisation ambitions within the oil and gas sector. The engineer will lead the technical execution of projects and lead multidisciplinary engineering teams, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
Requirements
- Driving technical assurance on assigned scopes of work
- Leading and supervising engineering team discipline engineering
- Managing key stakeholders and ensuring appropriate resources are available
- Developing and retaining motivated engineering personnel
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate activities
- Consulting and negotiating specifications
- Resolving conflicts and addressing issues
