Job Description
VacationRenter is seeking a talented React Native Engineer to join their engineering organization. The role involves building and evolving the mobile application, ensuring high performance, and contributing to architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on mobile applications
- Experience with React, Node.js, and PostgresQL or roughly-equivalent technologies
- Extensive experience with React Native, having led or significantly contributed to mobile app projects built from scratch
- Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and related tooling
- Ability to communicate clearly and write clear documentation
- Hands-on experience with web technologies such as React, HTML, and CSS, especially helpful for aligning mobile and web experiences
