Job Description
Wellpath is seeking a Full-Time Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive medical care to inmates under the supervision of medical leadership in the facility. The role involves evaluating and treating acute and emergency complaints, participating in administrative meetings, and collaborating with physicians and mental health professionals. The position offers career growth and a mission-driven culture.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited education program for PAs
- Previous correctional/detention facility experience
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Current (and must maintain) lifesaving BLS and PALS (where applicable)
- Current (and must maintain) working licenses and certifications
