Job Description
Wellpath is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive medical services to incarcerated patients in ME DOC Maine State Prison. The role involves conducting clinical care, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely referrals. They emphasize a compassionate and collaborative team environment, prioritizing patient well-being and offering growth and training opportunities.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
- Advanced degree in an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
- Prior medical/surgical and/or emergency/trauma experience and corrections experience.
- Patience and tact when dealing with inmate patients.
- Scheduling flexibility to rotate shifts and respond to emergencies.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- Current CPR certification.
