This position is for a Departmental Budget Analyst at the Finance department of Wake County Public Schools. The role involves analyzing, verifying, and reconciling project budgets, compiling financial data, and providing fiscal support to project managers. The analyst will also analyze and reconcile project-related information using Oracle accounting systems.
Requirements
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)
- Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or closely related field
- Five years of experience in finance or accounting
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Google Apps)
- Strong skills in budget, purchasing, and procurement procedures
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Independent initiative
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships
