Job Description
Berkley Edge, established in 1967, is seeking a Chief Underwriting Officer to manage underwriting operations and strategy. This key leadership role is critical for maximizing profitability and growth, and involves collaborating with other departments to develop and execute underwriting strategies. The CUO will oversee the development of pricing, policies, and risk management solutions, while also serving as a strategic planning and reporting leader for the underwriting team.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in a related field is ideal
- Minimum of 10 years commercial insurance underwriting experience
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and tactical leadership
- Strong interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of time
