As a critical member of the Consumer Revenue department, you'll manage our essential email communications to non-subscribers and subscribers of Vox and New York Magazine. You will be responsible for audience engagement, and driving conversions to subscriptions through email.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing manual and automated email campaigns, user segmentation, marketing calendars, and testing schedules.
- Bachelor degree preferred, preferably in marketing or related field.
- Proven experience using Sailthru (or another email service platform) and knowledge of email best practices, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, automated drip sequences, triggered emails, and automation.
- Strong analytical skills (particularly with Excel / Google Sheets, Google Analytics) and the ability to leverage data for insights and action.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and ease communicating across teams and different levels within a large organization
- Strong organizational and project management skills and detail oriented.
- Ability to work, coordinate, and build relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Canva is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS specifically as it pertains to coding email templates is a plus.
