Associate Audience Editor, New York Magazine

The New York Magazine audience team helps our journalism reach readers wherever they are — on newsletters, social media, the app, or the homepage — while deepening engagement with our most loyal audiences. We're seeking an Associate Audience Editor to support New York Magazine's growing audience operation.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in digital media, audience development, or editorial production.
• Strong writing, editing, and copyediting skills, with impeccable attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Sailthru or another ESP (email service provider).
• Familiarity with Dash Hudson or comparable social scheduling and analytics tools.
• Interest in learning the full range of audience work — from newsletters to social to homepage programming.
• Collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for New York Magazine's voice and mission.
