Front Desk Monitor

Volunteers of America-Greater New York is seeking a Front Desk Monitor to work at the East New York Residence, a single room occupancy residence providing permanent, supportive housing to formerly homeless single adults. The Front Desk Monitor will answer phone calls, take messages, receive and assist visitors, and control front door access.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Polite and pleasant manner
• Efficient and firm
• Ability to operate a busy front desk/security operation
• Diverse tasks with ease
• Maintain confidentiality
