Front Desk Monitor

Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-Greater New York) is seeking a Front Desk Monitor to assist with front desk operations, including answering phone calls, receiving visitors, and controlling front door access. The role involves working at East New York Residence, a permanent, supportive housing program for formerly homeless single adults.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Polite and pleasant manner, efficient and firm, and ability to operate a busy front desk/security operation
• Ability to perform diverse tasks with ease and maintain confidentiality
• Certifications: Coordinator of Fire Safety & Alarms (F80) required within 90 days of hire
