Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct skilled nursing care to terminally ill patients in the VITAS program, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The role emphasizes patient care, family involvement, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved school of Practical/Vocational nursing.
• Currently licensed to practice nursing in the state.
• At least one year of satisfactory nursing experience (LPN/LVN in a hospital setting).
• Willingness to work on flexible schedule (including weekends or rotating shifts).
• Must have and maintain transportation to work.
