Job Description
The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and prepared clinical environment, performing vital patient care tasks like phlebotomy and vital signs, and assisting physicians. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical assisting degree/program preferred
- Six months of healthcare experience
- One year of medical terminology experience
- Knowledge of the Bloodborne Pathogen Standard is required
- Experience in clinical pharmacology is required
- Medical Assistant Certification or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred
- BLS certification required
- Willingness to receive a Washington Commanders-select Healthcare Partner Award
