Job Description
This Medical Assistant position focuses on ensuring a clean and organized clinical environment for patient care. The role involves performing phlebotomy, preparing specimens, assisting with procedures, and providing general support to physicians. It is a full-time position within the Primary Care team of the Alexandria Medical Center in Northern Virginia.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of healthcare experience (preferred)
- One year of medical terminology experience
- BLS certification required
- Medical Assistant Certification or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) preferred
- WAHS preferred
