Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Clinical Unit Coordinator to provide coordination of direct and indirect patient care. This role involves managing shifts, personnel, quality, and patient outcomes, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be proactive, responsible, and committed to the healthcare environment.
Requirements
- Completion of a nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing
- Registered Nurse with current licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 2 years of experience in acute care setting (preferred)
- Ability to perform basic nursing skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly
- Ability to administer medication utilizing the five rights
- Basic computer knowledge
- Physical stamina and comfort with moderate physical demands (standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc.)
