Job Description
UVA Health Northern VA & Culpeper is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Clinical Unit Coordinator to lead a healthcare team focused on providing personalized patient care, collaborating with physicians, and implementing individualized care plans. The RN will act as a patient advocate, assess and plan for patient needs, and ensure complete care. This role involves communicating with the patient and their support system, analyzing health information, and ensuring safety. The position involves administrative tasks, mentoring, and resolving conflicts.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure
- CPI certification (Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, CSSO)
- Ability to administer medication, perform IV insertion, and patient transfers
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to safely and effectively care for all patient populations
