Staff Occupational Therapy - Occupational Therapy - Per Diem 8 Hours Day

Provides occupational therapy services to patients in adult and geriatric age groups, with occasional limited pediatric and adolescent patients. May function as clinical instructor for occupational therapy students.

Requirements

• Communicates appropriately with the referring physician
• Completes all required documentation
• Continues professional development through continuing education
• Develops appropriate treatment plans
• Evaluates patients, identifying problems and defining treatment goals
• Implements treatment program using appropriate procedures/techniques
• Monitors the extent to which services have met therapy goals
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and care
• Performs routine tasks necessary for maintenance of a clean, safe and efficient work area
