Job Description
The Assistant Director, Employer Strategy is responsible for strengthening partnerships between employers, alumni, and the University of Miami. The role involves proactive employer outreach efforts, coordinates external engagement activities, and supports strategic initiatives to expand internship and full-time opportunities for students.
Requirements
- Strong relationship management and networking skills
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
- High level of professionalism and ability to represent the University externally
- Experience with career platforms such as Handshake, LinkedIn, or CRM systems
- Strong organizational, presentation, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel throughout the region and the country
- Master’s degree in Higher Education or related area preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
