Head of Data Protection Office

Head of Data Protection Office at U.S. Bank, responsible for delivering the Bank’s overall EU Data Protection/Privacy strategy and risk management, including providing advice and guidance on data privacy requirements, conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments, and investigating potential data breaches.

Requirements

• Relevant third level qualification (e.g. law, IT, cyber security etc.)
• Specific Data Protection qualification/certification e.g. CIPP/E, CIPP/M
• 7-10 years’ experience in Financial Services and in a compliance, legal, risk or internal control role preferred
• Demonstrable work experience and a proven track record of dealing with data protection and privacy issues
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail
