The Training & Safety Manager ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and with company safety requirements. Responsible for continuous leadership and training of operator candidates.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of recent experience managing a Transit/Paratransit Safety and Training Program or similar position
- Possess a valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement
- Knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations regarding safety and environmental issues
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Good verbal, written, and relational communication skills, with the ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels
