Seasonal Maintenance Operator (Seasonal Horticulturist)

The Department of Community Services, Facility, Operations & Environment Division is accepting applications for the role of Seasonal Horticulturist. The successful candidate will perform all aspects of horticulture work while ensuring that proper safety procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Post-secondary education in parks or maintenance or related field and/or combination of relevant post secondary education and related experience
• One (1) year’s experience in municipal public works or parks and/or other relevant and/or equivalent experience
• Certification of Standard First Aid and CPR
• Valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s license

Benefits

• Hourly wage of $26.40 - $28.51
