Job Description
Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights seeks a Staff Attorney to advocate for the best interests of unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in federal custody. The position involves supervised child advocacy, case consultation, and collaboration with stakeholders. The team is dedicated to protecting children’s rights and well-being in the face of immigration proceedings.
Requirements
- J.D. and license to practice law or ability to acquire within 1 year
- Prior experience working with children and/or youth
- Understanding of the impact of trauma on children
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent case management skills
