Director

The Director plays a key role in advancing strategic priorities through policy analysis, project planning, stakeholder engagement and leadership of key initiatives. The Director will support the successful implementation of all new and ongoing initiatives through project planning and management, data gathering and analysis, conducting research, coordinating stakeholder meetings, and preparing and delivering presentations to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Government, Education or similar subject area
• Fifteen or more years experience working on Texas public education policy, including postsecondary pathways
• Ten or more years experience working on Texas higher education policy
• Direct experience effectively engaging with policymakers at the institutional, local, state and federal level
• Five or more years managing new initiatives and programs
• Experience partnering with philanthropy to advance program and policy goals
