Aquatics Technician - Shepherdsville Aquatic Center

The Aquatics Technician is responsible for assisting with the Aquatics operations of the Shepherdsville Aquatic Center's indoor and outdoor pools, preparing the facilities for the day's needs, managing chemical and pool operations, and completing daily reports.

Requirements

• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) certification or earned within 60 days of hire
• Mechanically oriented with experience in commercial pool pump room operations and pool chemicals
• Experience and success in customer service and leadership
• 2-3 years' experience of aquatics facility operations is preferred
• Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must have strong leadership skills
• Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
