Job Description
The Salvation Army is seeking a Social Ministries Caseworker to provide assistance to clients seeking help with various human service needs. The role involves client intake, counseling, referral, record-keeping, and participation in social ministries programs. This part-time position offers a job with a purpose and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven organization.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs
- Good problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of the local community and services provided
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed
- Bi-lingual, preferred
