Job Description
The Orthopaedic Biomechanics Laboratory within Department of Orthopaedics at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with a PhD in engineering, health sciences, kinesiology, or related field. The successful applicant will engage in clinical and laboratory-based research, data collection, data management, data analysis, data dissemination, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The position is a 2-year opportunity with potential for extension based on resource availability.
Requirements
- PhD in engineering, health sciences, kinesiology, or related field
- Strong academic record
- Independent work ethic and high level of self-motivation
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Functional knowledge of programming in languages such as Matlab and Python
- Experience with statistics and ability to implement statistical software
- Experience with Motion Analysis is preferred
