Job Description
Proposal Specialist provides technical assistance to scientific and administrative staff throughout the full contract and grant life cycle, including pre-award and post-award activities. Assists in pulling together crucial information for submissions, reviewing data for accuracy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and performing related duties.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Public/Business Administration, or a directly related area
- 1-4 years of directly related experience
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply cost accounting principles
- Knowledge of federal regulations including FAR, DFARS, and federal cost principles contained in OMB Circulars A-122, A-133 and A-110
- Superior professional-level written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
