Job Description
The Proposal Specialist provides technical assistance to scientific and administrative staff throughout the full contract and grant life cycle. This includes reviewing and negotiating terms for Federal, private, and industry sponsors, as well as post-award administration, including managing amendments, modifications, and processing a proposal for requests for equitable adjustments to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Public/Business Administration, or a directly related area
- 1-4 years of directly related experience
- Knowledge of federal regulations including FAR, DFARS, and federal cost principles contained in OMB Circulars A-122, A-133 and A-110
- Superior professional-level written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism, excellent judgment, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage a wide variety of complex tasks and projects simultaneously while meeting multiple deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
