Job Description
Respiratory Therapy RT roles in Gary, IN, involve direct patient care in respiratory therapy, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer administration, and mechanical ventilation management. This is a rotating night shift position within a Methodist Hospital setting.
Requirements
- Administers oxygen therapy.
- Administers physician-prescribed respiratory treatments.
- Operates and maintains non-invasive monitoring systems.
- Performs deep endotracheal and nasotracheal suction and tracheostomy care.
- Patient assessments.
- Sets-up, attaches, operates and manages mechanical ventilators.
