RESPIRATORY THERAPIST RRT

This Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position will work under supervision, delivering direct patient care in areas such as respiratory therapy, ensuring appropriate computer record management and performing treatments using non-invasive and invasive monitoring equipment. The role emphasizes confidentiality, professionalism, and independent work within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of respiratory care therapeutics and be authorized to provide treatment with appropriate licensure.

Requirements

• Administers oxygen therapy as ordered.
• Administers physician prescribed respiratory treatments.
• Operates and maintains non-invasive monitoring systems.
• Performs deep endotracheal and nasotracheal suction and tracheostomy care.
• Performs patient assessments for response to therapy.
• Sets-up, attaches, operates and manages mechanical ventilators.
