Job Description
The Community Service Specialist is responsible for managing a caseload of job-seeking participants, developing new sites, educating supervisors, matching participants to assignments, and assisting with education/vocational training programs. This role focuses on mitigating barriers to participation and ensuring contractual compliance.
Requirements
- Develop new non-profit Community Service sites and assignments.
- Educate on-site supervisors about oversight of WeCARE participant attendance and job duties.
- Match participants with Community Service assignments based on biopsychosocial assessment and IVAP.
- Assist participants with education and vocational training program enrollment.
- Supervise Community Service participant timekeeping and MetroCard distribution.
- Identify and assist with mitigating barriers to participation.
- Conduct site visits and ensure contractual compliance.
