Fire Protection Technician

Fire Protection Technician at Davey Tree Expert Co. of Canada, Limited, working on railroad property to protect infrastructure and resources from fire outbreaks. Travel across Canada, working in remote locations, with opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with maintenance and safe operation of gas-powered equipment.
• Valid provincial driver’s license and a clean driver’s license.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Forest fire work experience considered an asset.
• Licensed to drive a class 3 vehicle with air / DZ license.
• Valid First Aid certification is preferred.
• Enform or Forest Safety Council training preferred.
• Ability to work safely as part of a team and possess the willingness to learn and progress.
