Project Manager responsible for executing all projects from start to finish, serving as a single point of accountability for their successful completion. Key responsibilities include confirming project instructions, coordinating with account executives, negotiating rates and deadlines, and communicating with clients and linguists.
Requirements
- Confirm clarity of instructions prior to initiating project workflow
- Coordinate with Account Executives to educate/advise clients
- Negotiate rates and deadlines with contract linguists
- Use Computer Assisted Translation tools to maximize consistency and profitability
- Communicate any issues/problems/delays/additional information to Account Executive
- Effectively liaise with other departments
- Perform a Final Eye quality check and issue a Quality Score
- Bill projects completely and accurately within 24 hours of project completion
- Establish and maintain working relationships with contract linguists
- Investigate/resolve client complaints
- Based on management approval, be involved with training of new employees/Account Executives
- Based on management approval, attend trade shows/conferences/client meetings, as needed and/or execute sample jobs and/or projects with a higher level of complexity/difficulty
- Make recommendations to your manager on ways to improve any processes, etc.
- Perform other special projects or duties when required
