Job Description
The Licensing Manager manages a comprehensive intellectual property program for the assigned Texas A&M University System member, evaluating portfolios of innovations and recommending strategies for statutory protection and commercialization.
Requirements
- Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates new disclosures for technical development, patentability, commercial potential, and practical utilities.
- Negotiates reasonable terms and conditions for licensing rights to use technologies with potential licensees.
- Assists faculty and researchers in disclosing novel intellectual property to TAMUS Technology Commercialization.
- Interacts with business and investment communities to promote utilization of TAM US innovations for economic development.
