Job Description
Telesat is seeking a Senior System Engineer to develop and test algorithms for their low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation. The role involves performance analysis, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and providing technical leadership to junior engineers. Telesat's revolutionising internet service provider is backed by a legacy of engineering excellence and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in related system design and modeling
- Strong background in software development lifecycle
- Experience with Matlab
- Experience with agile development and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of radio communication systems
- Fluent in English, written and oral
- Canadian clearance required
