Acts as a liaison between marketing and sales teams, contacts and develops relationships with potential clients, qualifies leads, and books appointments for the sales team.
Requirements
- Identify and qualify new leads using various databases, internet, and industry tools
- Cold call identified leads
- Document and track all leads, contacts, opportunities, and activity history consistently in CRM
- Achieve quotas for number of qualified meetings per month with Manager/Director/VP/and C-level decision makers in target accounts
- Follow-up on inbound leads and proactively make outbound calls
- Develop and maintain customized scripts for targeted market segments and prospect types
- Manage a lead prospecting pipeline and maintain accurate information about suspects, prospects, and their companies
- Participate in company meetings, industry trade shows, booth exhibits and marketing events
- Keep up with industry trends and best practices, including utilization of new technology and web resources
