Job Description
Talkiatry, founded by a patient and a psychiatrist, is seeking Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join their growing team. They offer a hospital group's stability with a private practice's autonomy, focusing on improving access to behavioral health care. Requirements
- Board Certified by the ANCC as a PMHNP
- A minimum of 4 years’ post grad experience practicing as a PMHNP, preferably in a telehealth setting
- Prior RN experience in psychiatry/behavior health is a plus!
- Ability to obtain and maintain active and unrestricted license and DEA number
- Experience administering initial mental health evaluations, developing and implementing treatment plans, medication management, as well as psychoeducation/supportive therapy.
- Proficiency in using an Electronic Medical Record system
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills.
- A willingness and passion to expand clinical skill set through continuous education, and a commitment to evidence-based practice.
- A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment.
- A commitment to high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health care.
