Linux Engineer- L2

This role is for a Linux Engineer, part of a Support team within HPE. The engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support to global HPE customers, operating complex servers, security management, and managing configurations. A strong customer focus and ability to adapt quickly are critical. The role involves incident resolution, problem management, and preventative maintenance.

Requirements

• Resolve customer’s issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions.
• Reproduce issues in-house and respond in a timely manner.
• Identify and escalate issues to vendor and proactively monitor.
• Maintain quality on case documentation and SLA timeframes.
• Perform regular performance analysis and security audits.
