Job Description
Tala is seeking a Global Telephony Engineer to manage and maintain their global telephony environment, encompassing VoIP infrastructure, PBX systems, and call recording systems. This role involves maintaining uptime, supporting system architecture, collaborating with Operations and Shared Services, and ensuring high availability. Tala is focused on providing financial tools to underserved markets and offers a remote-first approach with offices in various locations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in managing and maintaining complex telephony systems.
- Deep understanding of VoIP technologies (SIP, GSM, RTP).
- Extensive experience with Asterisk PBX administration.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Vendor negotiation and management skills.
