Port Engineer

T-Solutions is seeking a Port Engineer to ensure the operational readiness of ships. The Port Engineer will lead a maintenance team and act as the primary representative for the Type Commander and Commanding Officer in all off-ship maintenance and modernization efforts.

Requirements

• Manage an online database for all jobs
• Validate work requests and assign preliminary estimates and plans
• Review work specifications and coordinate schedules
• Oversee repairs and provide input for maintenance funding decisions
• Meet daily with the ships' crew and department heads
• Review implementation and provide risk assessment and prioritization
• Attend weekly status meetings and provide requested information
• Develop agendas and present details on the Planning Board
• Perform a weekly review and ship check
• Provide an annual prioritized list for off-ship maintenance requirements
