SCT resources are seeking a Business Analyst Level 3 to work with the Government of Ontario's Business Solutions Section Land and Resource Cluster and Ministry of Natural Resources. The role involves developing business process models, conducting research and analysis, and providing recommendations and strategies for business lines.
Requirements
- Develop detailed level business process model(s)
- Document MNR future state business processes
- Leverage existing MofA documentation and/or create new MNR-specific documentation as necessary
- Ensure all documentation is created in accordance with applicable OPS and/or LRC standards, templates, methodologies and technologies
- Develop a Gap Analysis report
- Assist the LRC in planning and scheduling implementation of the new IT Solution
- Develop business analysis documentation
- Assist the LRC in planning and scheduling subsequent analysis work leading to the implementation of the new IT Solution
- Lead and/or execute portions of the subsequent detailed analysis work
- Provide progress/status reports to Project Manager
- Raise issues and risks to Project Manager in a timely manner
- Transfer documentation and knowledge to specified Ministry employees as applicable
- Participate and facilitate in working group sessions with the MNR clients and stakeholders
- Conduct thorough research and business analysis to clearly present options and provide recommendations and common strategies for the business lines
- Provide support, guidance and advice to the project Enterprise Architecture team members in the development of business architecture deliverables
- Create, leverage and/or update business modelling deliverables
- Assist the LRC in planning and scheduling further analysis and implementation of the new IT Solution
- Provide progress/status reports to Project Manager
- Raise issues to Project Manager in a timely manner
