Sun Valley Resort is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant and ensure a memorable dining experience for every guest.
Requirements
- Support and supervise restaurant staff, ensuring adherence to Sun Valley Resort service standards
- Create and manage employee schedules based on hotel occupancy and dining reservations
- Assist in training new and existing team members in hospitality best practices and technical skills
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership on menu updates, service pacing, and guest feedback
- Provide outstanding front-of-house service, stepping in as needed to support servers and hosts
- Maintain working knowledge of wine service and food pairings; assist guests with recommendations
- Communicate clearly with team members and chefs regarding service timing, special requests, and guest needs
- Ensure proper ordering and stocking of linens, supplies, and small wares
- Handle guest concerns with professionalism and resolve any issues to maintain satisfaction and loyalty
