Senior Planning Policy Officer

Join our team as a Senior Planning Policy Officer and shape our communities and places in Babergh and Mid Suffolk for the better. This role involves supporting the formulation of planning policy, working with external consultants, and engaging with the community to develop strategies and neighbourhood development plans.

Requirements

• Motivated planner with knowledge and experience of the spatial planning policy system
• Degree level education in an appropriate discipline
• Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (desirable)
• Good understanding of the plan-making process
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Good IT skills and experience with modern Microsoft products
