Job Description
STV, a leading transportation and infrastructure company, has an exciting opportunity for an Architectural Designer to join our team in the heart of New York, NY. The ideal candidate will perform the Architectural design work from initial design phase through construction completion, interface and collaboration with various disciplines, clients, and consultants.
Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a project architect working within the rail/transit sector
- Registered Licensed Architect in the State of New York is preferred
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with OpenBuildings, Rhino, 3-D Max, Sketch-up is a plus and LEED Accreditation is also a plus
- Excellent design, technical detailing, and strong presentation skills, both verbal and visual, are essential
- Experience with building code analysis and construction administration is preferred
