Project Accountant

Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is seeking an entry-level Project Accountant to manage financial information related to projects, communicate with Project Managers, and analyze and report on financial project administration, profitability, utilization, budgets, and accruals.

Requirements

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with Project Manager’s regarding contract documents, scope changes, contract amendments, approvals, financial status, and any additional services related to Projects.
• Assist with generating and interpreting financial records and statements for management and project managers – i.e. project profitability, opportunities for additional billings, remaining backlog available for projects.
• Respond to client requests and interface with clients to investigate project variances, all project expenses not billed to customers, and unpaid contract billings
• Create and close out opportunities and projects in NetSuite and Box.com as appropriate.
• Maintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders (primarily in Box.com).
• Create, review and/or approve: subcontractor invoices related to projects, all project-related billings to customers, write-off of any project-related billings that cannot be billed to or collected from customers.
• Assist with creating customer invoicing.
• Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required.
